Upcoming Events

Outreach invites everyone to attend the
Annual Every Child Matters Powwow on September 30th,
organized by the American Indian Health Service of Chicago.

The event honors victims of residential schools and celebrates native culture through drumming, dancing, crafts, and food. Entry is free.

This year, the location is Bunker Hill Forest Preserve, West Harts Road, Niles, IL. The event opens at 11 am, with a presentation on the boarding schools at 11:45 am, Grand Entry at 12:30 pm, and dance sessions until 5 pm. To learn more, go to American Indian Health Service of Chicago, Inc.

Here’s how it works: Pastor Ann-Louise cooks, you show up to eat!

In addition to a great meal, you get to enjoy good conversation &
a connection that goes a little deeper than Fellowship Hour.

This month, we’ll have a special conversation focus on Ethical Wills, with Margaret England helping to facilitate the discussion. If you’re interested in learning more about them, please join us!

Come celebrate Dick Simpson as he is honored for his lifelong commitment to fighting against corruption and for good government in Chicago!

Please let Pastor Ann-Louise know if you would like to join Wellington’s table at this event. Tickets are $135, with subsidies available.

Our time at the retreat was so sweet!

The inaugural welcome BBQ on Friday evening was a hit…our reflection time together Saturday morning was superb…Lisa Dalke led us to artistic perfection Saturday afternoon…and the weather even collaborated for those who ventured down to the beach! Sunday morning’s cozy worship service topped it all off.

Thanks to everyone whose work & collaboration made this year’s retreat such a success!
We had FOUR waggle dances, and have some exciting exploratory work ahead of us!

Bee on the lookout for a special email coming your way soon with more news about our next steps in finding our new home.
