How lovely to be able to attend church Sunday morning without needing to venture out in the cold or having to shovel!

Join us as we continue our journey through the season of Epiphany, reflecting on gifts given & gifts received!

Thanks to Mark Birge-Anderson for our lovely Epiphany image!

And next Sunday…

Due to Tammy’s extended stay at The Citadel, her monthly SSI benefits have been reduced to $30. The rest of her check is now going to the facility, and there’s also a chance she will be forced to repay last month’s disability payment, too.

Wellington would like to pay Tammy’s rent for two months so that she still has an apartment to return to when she can confidently live on her own again. We’ll need a little over $1000 to make that happen.

(If she’s not able to return home in two months, we’ll be asking for volunteers to help pack up her beloved home!)

If you’d like to contribute to this offering, please click on the button below, or mail a check to the church office with “Benevolence – Tammy” in the memo line. Thanks in advance for your generosity!

You’ve got a week to finish reading!

The Book Club

meets on
Saturday, January 20th
at 10am

to discuss Swing Time, which has brilliant things to say about race, class, and gender, but its most poignant comment is perhaps this…that belonging has a value all its own.” — The Guardian

Ann-Louise’s inaugural year of hosting the Last Supper* Club has drawn to a close – but we’re keeping the tradition alive!

The Congregational Life Committee is recruiting volunteers to host one Last Supper* Club this year – with Ann-Louise hosting an “orientation dinner” for new hosts on January 31st!
