Wellington at

Chicago’s Pride Parade!

Once a rabble rouser, always a rabble rouser. Our friend Dick Simpson recently published an op-ed in the Sun-Times today on ethics reforms after the Burke sentencing.  Click here to read his erudite letter.

Debbie Southorn & Olivia Abrecht are getting ready for the birth of their firstborn!

After our Worship & Picnic in the Park service on Sunday, July 21st, we’ll be holding a little celebration for them – and we hope you can join us!

We also welcome you to choose a gift for them off of their baby registry site. If you’d like to contribute to a group gift from Wellington, send Ann-Louise an email & let her know!

Christina Harris contacted Wellington to let us know that her mother, Rev Mary Harris, has passed away. Mary was a member Wellington in the 1970’s and was ordained there sometime in the early 1990’s.

There is a memorial service in Kansas City, MO this Sat, Jul 6 at 2pm. It will be broadcast for those who are interested in joining us but can’t make it to Kansas City.  The link for the YouTube video will be available for a few months after the service.  Follow this link to Facebook for more information.
