Join us this Sunday during Fellowship Hour to hear from Leone-Jose Bichierri, Founder & Executive Director, about the work we are supporting at Working Family Solidarity.
This organization strives to educate and unify working families in Chicago and Illinois to create a culture of labor rights education and inter-racial solidarity among low-wage and contingent workers, including unemployed and under-employed workers. Their approach is two-pronged: providing workshops and trainings on various areas of worker rights and housing rights, while simultaneously intertwining Racial Unity Dialogues which include a historical analysis of racism in our society.
OAK FLAT UPDATE
LATE BREAKING NEWS! Apache Stronghold got word that the Federal district Judge in Phoenix has GRANTED THE INJUNCTION, stopping the government’s efforts to fast track the land transfer of Oak Flat to Resolution Copper!!! Thank you for your prayers!!!
Keep those prayers going, because the U.S. Supreme Court has yet to take action on Apache Stronghold’s freedom of religion case.
Apache Stronghold and supporters will gather this Sunday, Mother’s Day, in Tucson for a “LOVE THE MOTHER Rally for Oak Flat” featuring updates and stories from the mothers and young women of Apache Stronghold.
