Thanks for taking a moment to check out these events in our shared life & the wider world.

If you’d like something included in an upcoming newsletter, please let the office know! Reach out to office@waucc.org or 773-935-0642 (text or call).

If you’d rather join by phone, just dial 312-626-6799 and enter the Meeting ID: 917 3218 6458.

It wouldn’t be Wellington Way if we didn’t talk about pledging… but we have a lot more on our plates this year as well!

Whether you’re joining in person or on Zoom, come prepared to thoughtfully reflect in community about where we’re going – and how long we want our (financial) fuel to last.

Places will be set with these “Table Manners” that we’ll use to guide our conversations on Sunday!

If you are joining us onsite, please note that we’ll be in the Fellowship Hall on the lower level this Sunday – starting at 10:30am!

From the main entrance, come down the short flight of steps,
or take the elevator on the left.

The address is 425 S. Central Park Avenue, at the corner of Congress Parkway & Central Park Avenue, just north of the expressway (I-290).

Street parking is free and usually available within one block of the church building on both sides of S. Central Park, as well as along Congress and on the south side of Van Buren, which is one block north of the church.

GREAT NEWS! Over 20,000 people nationwide responded to this call for acton last week, and the bill was resoundingly defeated.

Keep up the good work!

This episode of Craig Mousin’s Lawful Assembly podcast explores immigration issues through the lens of competing Christian interpretations of how to welcome the stranger – examining the views of those who follow the Migrant 4 Life compared to those who follow MAGA Jesus.
