This month we’ll be hearing from Wellington friends Pam and Lan Richart, about their work with the Eco-Justice Collaborative to help create a more sustainable planet for all.
The Eco-Justice Collaborative first raises public awareness of the consequences of our actions on people and our planet, then advocates personal and policy changes that:
- Seek harmony with planet earth.
- Respect all life.
- Value diversity.
- Support ecological sustainability.
- Bring about a just distribution of the world’s resources.
We are honored at Wellington to partner with EJC in their work. As many of you know, Pam and Lan Richart were members of Wellington when they resided in Chicago, and remain friends of the congregation. Both Craig Mousin and Clinton Stockwell are on the EJC Board of Directors.

Stop by Coffee Talk to say hello, catch up with people, or share a prayer request.

Join ONE Northside for a lobby day in Springfield on Feb. 26!
Illinois is facing a $3 billion shortfall. The federal government is slashing funding that support critical services and programs in our communities. At the same time, IL is leaving $5 billion on the table in corporate tax loopholes. We need to show up and make sure our state legislators and governor do not balance the budget on the backs of poor, working, and middle-class families.
Join us on Feb. 2/26 from 5:30am-7pm. Transportation, breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided. No prior lobbying experience is required! Register at bit.ly/febspringfield
