Welcome, Sharon!
As you may have heard, our search for a permanent, part-time Church Administrator recently hit a dead end. The Personnel Committee has reopened the search (and already has some promising candidates) – but in the meantime, we’ve brought Sharon Fialco on as Interim Church Administrator for the next 3 months.
Her 20 hrs/week will be spread out over Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays – and you can meet her at the on-site service this week! You can also reach her at office@waucc.org, or via the church phone (773-935-0642).
Tammy Snider’s hernia surgery on Friday was a success!
She should be back in her room at The Citadel by Saturday evening. She has to be on a puréed diet for two weeks – and is NOT supposed to have coffee! – but is otherwise doing great. And she’s hoping to be back in her apartment soon.
