🌈 Sunday, June 29th is PRIDE
As is our tradition, we will be marching in the parade as part of the Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches.

Are you willing to help carry our sign, as Shelby so capably demonstrates in this picture?

Want to be part of the fun, and let queer people know God loves them, no matter what?!?

Let Pastor Ann-Louise know ASAP!

Make sure to take some time to celebrate Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19th! Look for Wellingtonians at either of these celebrations:

From 1-6pm, join Honey Pot Performance for a Juneteenth celebration as we honor Black resilience and preserve our culture and history. Come hang out for a daylong gathering of food, music, performance, and community in the First Church garden.

Bring your family recipes and other stories to archive. Catch a gardening workshop and cooking demo with local chefs. We are excited to share this joyful gathering with YOU! Click HERE to register.

From 1:30 – 5:30pm, join CRS at 436 E 47th St, Chicago, IL for
In Our Ancestors’ Footsteps: We Can’t Be Broken.

Together, we will uplift the power and legacy of Black culture, resistance and resilience, and liberation through soul food, storytelling art, and multi-generational unity.  Click HERE to register.
