Welcome Alex Barnes, our seminary intern,
in worship on Sunday!

Alex – holding the basket in the picture below – officially begins her internship year with us this week. Join us for a litany of welcome during the service, then stick around to learn a bit more about her during Fellowship Hour.

We’re also thrilled to have Caroline, Alex’s partner (on the left in the picture below, taken at Tower Hill) as part of our extended community.

Give!

This month’s Helping Hands Offering supports the Sanctuary Working Group of CRLN here in Chicago – of which Wellington is an integral part. Funds will go towards welcoming, supporting, and housing asylum seekers as they arrive in Chicago.

The Outreach Committee will match all funds given by the congregation, so please give generously!

You can give online through the church’s Tithe.ly link,
or by mailing a check to the church office
(P.O. Box 804687, Chicago, IL 60680-4108)

This Friday, 9/23 @ 5:30pm!
